Kratom Guide
Kratom, also known as Mitragyna speciosa, is a medicinal leaf that is native to many countries in Southeast Asia and is a relative of the coffee plant. It is also related to the shrub Psychotria viridis, commonly known as Chacruna.
Those native to Southeast Asia have long used Kratom for it's psychoactive effects and in recent years, its use has spread to Europe and other parts of the world. Kratom is both a stimulant and a depressant, producing a sense of well being and of restfulness. In countries such as Malaysia and Thailand, it is a popular substitute for opiates such as morhpine and cocaine. Effects typically fade within a few hours.
